Spotlight Volunteer Publishes Her First Book!
One of our dedicated volunteers, Vladi Kuna, has just published her first book! It contains a thought for each day of the year with positive statements and inspiring pictures to help the reader reach their potential.
Vladi, who is on our fundraising and events team, has very kindly offered to donate a portion of the proceeds of the book to Harpenden Spotlight on Africa. ‘I love helping HSoA and donating to help is just amazing, especially when we can’t really do events due to Covid-19’. Thank you Vladi!!

Swing For Their Supper A Towering Success!
Thank you to everyone who helped organise and promote our abseil event last weekend - there was a wonderful (socially distanced!) atmosphere at the base of the church tower and in all 12 abseilers joined in the challenge.
Joshua Kunova was our youngest abseiler at 8 years old and enjoyed it so much he descended twice! We were blessed with good weather and hope to be able to announce a healthy total soon.
Heart-filled thanks for a great team effort all round and especially to Wendy for organising! We raised a magnificent £5,000 which will transform lives.
